Roll The Camera - I have so much to tell
At four, I said, “I want to be a street sweeper.” -
“Why?” -
“No one tells you what to do. You’re free,
alone with the world.”
Who am I?
My name is Daniel and I was born in 2008 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
On this page I summarized all my way as a Producer, Director, and Actor

Scene one
inception
School of Arts
My journey as a creator started at seven, when I went to Jazz Children's School of Arts at the State University of Culture. There I studied theatre, drums, piano, vocals and more.

During a long eight-year study at the School of Arts as a director, actor, and a producer I:

  • Participated in more than 12 projects
  • Won numerous prestigious awards/festivals
  • Performed at most renowned stages of St. Petersburg
Scene Two
Breakthrough
Summer 2022
career-oriented program
One of our new educators, Nadezhda Buravlyova, selected me to participate in competitive directing and producing programs lasting 3 weeks.
I became a part of a big community of creative people: writers, directors, producers, actors, and artists.
Together, we created an amazing project - Alice in Wonderland, where I worked as both a director and playwright.
Scene Three
Dawn
Academy of talents
After the summer 2022 program, I was invited to join an Academy that fosters talented children and teenagers.
Scene three is my biggest step towards a dream - to become a professional filmmaker.
I created, directed, and produced with people who had the same dream as me.
Scene Four
independent
Theatre has taught me a lot about directing, producing, and working with actors, so in recent years I’ve decided to focus more on film projects outside of any organizations.
Here are some examples
of my recent works
Summer in His Eyes

This short film was made entirely by me and two actors as part of my creative portfolio for university. It is about a teenage girl going through self-discovery. She is overwhelmed by warm memories of a childhood friend she met by the sea.

This film was inspired by my childhood friend, whom I haven’t seen in many years, but still remember every second we spent together.
The Little Prince

My first entirely English-language film.

I participated as an Art Director and an Actor.

This project received funding from the Griboyedov Foundation for the Development of International Projects
